Eight is great! Bree enjoyed her own set of balloons as well as a few cards and gifts.

Violet had the coolest candle ever on her birthday cake this year! We always enjoy spending time with cousins. 

Ben Turns 5

Ben woke up the morning he turned 5 to find balloons in his room! Later that day he opened a few gifts, to include a money-filled card from Cousin Joe and Magnatiles from Mommy and Daddy. Those magnatiles were a wonderful gift - he has used them for many creations.

Balloon Avalanche

For Ben's birthday, we filled his room up with balloons for him to find first thing in the morning. Bree loved this idea and was, truthfully, a little envious. So we decided to set up a balloon avalanche for her birthday surprise. It was a bit difficult getting it all set up. The idea was that when Bree opened her door in the morning, the balloons would all fall on her. We think it worked - we weren't actually there! Regardless, she loved her birthday balloons and set to work drawing faces on them and naming each one. Daisy, Lazy, Princess, Paige, Hello Kitty, Miss Wonderful, Star, Rosie, Twinkle Toes, Rainbow, Hearts, Happy, Boo, Chatterbox and Ladybug became quite special to her and stuck around her room for awhile.
