Egg Dyeing Time!

This year, Ben joined in on the Easter egg dyeing fun! Easter morning meant a visit from the Easter bunny, and also the first chance we had to dye some Easter eggs. Bree was a bit worried about her brother joining us. She thought he would break the eggs. He certainly wasn't gentle, but we managed okay! This year some of our dye cups had glitter added, and Daddy made a cute bunnies with the crayon.

What a joy it is to wake up early on mornings like this. Mornings when your children are exclaiming in their rooms discovering plastic candy-filled eggs hidden in special spots just for them. Mornings when minutes later you hear your daughter repeatedly shout, "Oh my chinny-chin-chin!" from downstairs and you know that the Easter Bunny did not disappoint when it came to baskets and chocolate and magic.  Mornings when both of your bed-head children are abuzz with excitement and start their day eating candy and you indulge because, truly, resistance is futile. I wonder how many more mornings like this we will be lucky enough to treasure, because I plan to enjoy each one!
