Check out this before picture. Now don't judge us for not taking care of that mop of curly hair sooner, but Ben recently had his very first haircut. Yes, it appears it got a bit out of control. The baby curls were just so stinking adorable and the wild child look was working! Plus, we had heard stories about children losing the curls after the first haircut, so we just weren't in any hurry. The crazy, curly hair was just part of Ben. A part we love! But Ben and Mommy had been going to the pool, and this mop of hair looked a lot different when it was wet and in his eyes and all different lengths. Truly, it was getting to be too much. So it was that we found ourselves at Kiddie Kutters for Ben's first haircut on June 10, 2012. (Two years and two months after he was born.) Ben was really excited to get to sit in the white car. He was also given matchbox cars to hold during the cut, but just like his big sister, it was the lollipops that did the trick. We didn't want to go real short with the new look, and as it was it took us some time to get used to. He looked so much older and more like a boy. The good news is... Ben kept the curls!
