Christmas Day, 2011

Opening a present from Santa!

Look at what Santa brought!

What a daddy - Bree asked him to sit at the kiddie table with her and he did!

Christmas Eve, 2011

This Christmas Eve we had a busy day at our house. Ben started by crossing his legs and reading Frosty the Snowman...

While Bree rolled out sugar cookie dough...

And Daddy picked up a (free) Christmas tree.

Daddy made a yummy fresh ham for dinner and the kids put on their new Disney pajamas from Cousin Joe.

After Ben went to bed Brianna and Mommy got busy decorating the cookies.

Later that night after everyone was asleep our house was touched by a bit of Christmas magic. Our tree was decorated for us...

Stockings were stuffed...

Cookies and carrots were mysteriously sampled...

And books were left in sleeping childrens' beds.

presents with Grandma and Uncle Eric

Bree was especially excited to get "The toilet game!"

Ben had fun with the toilet game head band!

Christmas with the cousins!

Love these kids! Logan, Delaney, Madison, Brianna, Violet

The girls and their mermaids.
Thank you, Julie and Violet, for having us all out to your house to exchange gifts and giggles!

presents with Panka

Although the kids got some fun things, (an awesome sticker book for Bree and a great, Ben-sized bike) spending time with Grandpa was the best present.

Bree's first career choice

Bree wants to be a dentist when she grows up.

I'm not sure why she decided on this, but something spurred her into a fondness for this profession. I certainly will be happy if someday she makes this dream into a reality!  This month Bree had a check up at our pediatric dentist office. She got her teeth cleaned but had a hard time with the bite wing x-rays... too big for her mouth. She got to bring home an Ariel toothbrush and a prize from the treasure chest, as well as a clean and cavity-free smile!
My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!

cutie pies!

hooray for snow!

This year in Colorado we had a white Christmas. We had two decent snowstorms during the week prior. The kids sure enjoyed getting bundled up and heading outside for some exercise and fun!

snow angel fun!

Ben's first snow angel - he loves doing what sissy does! (And would have had his hat on if I had only known what his plan was...)
