 Ben wasn't so sure about the whole costume idea... until he realized it meant he could trick-or-treat! This year he really got into it, running from house to house chanting "Moe canny!" and "HappyWeen!"

 Bree's Kindergarten classroom party was very well done, so many fun things to do with friends! By far, Bree's favorite activity was the worm race. The kids were given a plate of gummy worms in whipped cream to eat, without any hands. Not surprisingly, she blew away her competition! 

 Ever since her little brother was born, Brianna has been very protective of her bedroom. It has been strictly off-limits for little Ben. So what a treat it was when she invited him in to listen to a story and take a little rest!

Spending the night with Auntie Corinne

 Bree is a lucky girl! Over fall break she got to spend the night at Auntie Corinne's house! My best friend Corinne owns a yoga studio and Bree was able to join in on the class. Then it appears the two of them watched a movie and had some silly slumber party time together! I am so thankful that Corinne is a close part of our lives, and I'm sure Bree would agree.

Boo at the Zoo!

 See this picture? This is my incredibly independent 5-year-old flower princess having a tantrum because I told her to put her shoes on. Lucky for her, I did not let this moment dampen what turned out to be a fun evening for the two of us! 

 Tantrum over, I pile the pretty pink princess into the car for a mommy-daughter visit to BOO at the ZOO! This was our first time attending this event and we had beautiful weather. 

 Another first was the skyride! At the top of the ride we found Star Wars characters to take pictures of and get treats from. We took lots of pictures because we knew Daddy would be sad he missed it!

 We loved the giraffe-ghost! (A giraffe statue with a huge sheet over it!)

 The highlight of the night for Bree, clearly, was the DJ with the hula hoops! Who knew the girl had such talent?
