Starting Summer Vacation, 2014

Ahhh... there is really nothing to compare to that first day of summer vacation. This year, mine started with a sweet kitty and a book to wake up to!

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is a fantastic program for girls in grade 3-5 to build confidence and healthy habits. Students meet with coaches twice a week in the gym at school for a lesson and to train for the culminating event - a 5K. Since Mommy was a coach Bree got to join in on some of the lessons and for the 5K run! It was a great program and a ton of fun to be a part of. Bree and her first grade friend Alyson shared a milkshake when it was all done.

Star Wars Days in May

Here are some highlights of a trip Daddy, Ben and Joe took to Disneyworld for Star Wars Days, 2014! For some reason, Darth Vader (Dark Vader, Darkie) has been Ben's absolute favorite Star Wars character for the past few years. The three of them had a magical time together.

Vader may be his favorite, but Ben is no fool. He's keeping his eyes on him...

Dino-soarin!

The 1st graders get to perform in a musical at our school for the first time in their Bobcat careers. This year, Bree's grade level presented "Dino-soaring" to the school during the day, and to the parents at night. Bree had auditioned for a speaking part in the play, and she got one! Her line was, "And we can go dino-soarin another day." We had a great time in the audience watching her perform.
